I have enjoyed writing for most of my life, and the Sweetland Writing Minor has been the perfect opportunity to improve and enhance my writing skills. The most critical skill I learned was the ability to reflect on my writing, and then re-write.  In the Gateway course I wrote an essay about why I write. This semester in the Capstone course, I have written an essay about the evolution of myself as a writer. Both of these pieces highlight my reflective writing skills. I enjoyed writing both of the pieces, as I was able to dig deeper and find meaning behind why I write and how I have changed as a writer. Click each button to read "Why I Write" and "Evolution Essay."
